At Surfside Donuts, we aren't your typical donut shop. we not only offer brioche and cake donuts daily, and Vegan raised brioche donuts every Friday. We believe that there is no limit to what a donut can be. We use only the finest ingredients in our donuts, sourced from local farmers and suppliers whenever possible.

We take a artisanal and traditional approach to making donuts. Our dough is carefully crafted by hand, and allowed to rise naturally for hours. We roll, cut, proof, and fry each donut by hand, and then add our signature icings and toppings by hand. It's a labor of love, but we believe it's worth it.

We proudly serve Stumptown Coffee, roasted fresh from Portland Oregon. Our baristas are extensively trained by Stumptown trainers, with guidance to create the perfect cup. We choose to use Stumptown because, not only is it one of the top rated coffees in the world, they are a direct and fair trade company. All coffee is sourced fairly and ethically from farms around the world.

Donuts are quite literally my passion
HI! I'm Carrie, the owner, baker, donut slinger, barista, book keeper, and HBIC of Surfside Donuts. Surfside began in 2015 with a dream to bring fresh, handmade donuts to Pismo Beach. Shortly after its inception, my parents and I took over ownership and decided to bring Surfside to a whole new level. Sadly, both of my parents have since passed away, so it is up to me to keep our dream alive. I couldn't do it without the support of our wonderful community.
